Isiah Freeman, of Mount Vernon, was arrested around 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, after being stopped by Greenwich Police for driving a vehicle with a license plate that did not match, Greenwich Police said.
Once stopped, Freeman did not have any identification that could positively identify who he was and allegedly provided officers with a fake name and signed documents using the fictitious name, police said.
When officers arrived at the police station, Freeman's fingerprints were run through a program and he was positively identified, police added.
He was arrested and charged with interfering with a police officer, forgery, criminal impersonation and improper use of a license or registration.
Freeman is being held on a $5,000 bond.
